Seeing Nature Like an Artist Art Class- June 27, 2026
Have you ever wondered how those beautiful renditions of wildflowers or scenic landscapes develop? Explore seeing our natural world from an artistic perspective with artist Carolyn Velletri. Focusing on shape, line, and value and touching on color theory and composition, participants can experience plein air (outdoor) drawing and watercolor sketches with onsite instruction. All supplies are included and yours to keep.  You do not need any artistic background, but having an open mind and willingness to see things from a new perspective is essential! Plein air art presents joys and challenges both overall and specifically in watercolor. Be prepared to be outside (weather permitting). Please bring your smartphone or camera, as well as a portable chair or stool if available. Limit to ten participants (Ages 14 or older)
