DESCRIPTION:Join Josh Palumbo as we climb the rugged Furnace Mountain Trail. This 4.2 mile out and back features steep ascents up exposed ridgelines to a payoff atop Furnace Mountain. See the first flashes of fall in the Shenandoah National Park on this difficult ascent. Be sure to bring plenty of food and water. The hike is rated difficult.
