DESCRIPTION:Are you curious about what species call Wintergreen home? During the month of August\, TNFW encourages you to participate in our bioblitz by taking photos of wildlife and uploading them to iNaturalist. On August 1st\, you will learn how to take quality images that can be used in real scientific research and receive a sneak peek of the ongoing moth research project at Crawford’s Knob. On September 4th\, we will review the data collected\, and prizes will be awarded to the top bioblitz participants! Attendance at the info session is not required to participate but will greatly improve the quality of observations. See you there!

Join Blue Ridge Master Naturalist Susan McSwain to discover the wildlife we’ve lost and what happened to it. Susan is an award-winning nature educator and conservation advocate.
